NORTHEN VELEBIT NATIONAL PARK
Although not the highest Croatian mountain, it is certainly the most famous. Velebit is the backbone that connects the north and south of Croatia. As part of national pride, Velebit is a mountain that leaves you completely breathless.
PAKLENICA NATIONAL PARK
Due to its unique natural basis, exceptional geomorphological shapes and magnificent forests, the area of Velika and Mala Paklenica was already declared a national park in 1949. The main reason for declaring this area a national park was the protection of the best preserved and largest forest complex in Dalmatia.
ISLAND PAG
Pag is a town that offers preserved cultural monuments, gourmet specialties and different, magical stone landscapes. It’s often referred to as the “Island of Stone” or a “Moonscape Island” due to its an eerie surface with its rocky terrain and many different shapes that only nature can create.
Island of Pag is one of the sunniest Adriatic islands, with over 2,500 hours of sunshine per year.
